Community Service: How to Make it Enjoyable

For so many people, community service is a chore. In school, kids are required to complete a certain number of hours before they graduate and adults only seem to do it when they feel forced. Why has giving back to our community become such a hardship? Why has helping our neighbors become such a difficulty?

Though many may not know this, community service can be fun and exciting, as well as easy and affordable. With this website, we hope to show people tons of different ways to enjoy themselves while helping the community. The most important step in enjoying your community service experience is to choose a program that best suites you. If you love talking long, leisurely, walks, try helping out at a local animal shelter by walking dogs. If you prefer to travel and like working with kids, look into orphanages in Africa that might need an extra hand. Here, we recommend trusted programs and organizations in order to help you make this difficult decision. So, what are your interests? Where will you be volunteering next?
